Your Kitchen has all the Ingredients to Remove Your Skin Tan

In summers, the frequency of our monthly visits to the parlour increases. All day out in sun, our skin tends to tan and this darkening of your skin gives rise to dozens of other problems, like uneven patchy layer on the skin, rashes, sagging skin and premature ageing of skin. It also makes your face look dull and stressed out. So a session at the parlour becomes important.
Even after shelling out money on facials, scrubs and creams, we don’t see much difference in our skin. But then we forget that the secret ingredients to remove tanning are in our kitchen – the ones that our grandmothers had told us about. Honestly, they are the most effective. Here are five tips you should definitely try at home.

The same way, you can use honey and lemon juice – add half a lemon and one tablespoon of honey. Apply it to your skin and let it stay for about 20 minutes. You can replace lemon juice with pineapple juice. Results would be visible if you do it every alternate day.

Turmeric and Lemon juice: In a bowl take one tablespoon of turmeric; add 3 spoons of lemon juice and one spoon coconut water or honey. Make a paste and apply for 30 minutes. As it starts drying, scrub it off your skin. Your skin will look lighter within minutes. This is good for oily and sensitive skin.
Tomato, Yogurt and Lime juice: This also helps to reduce pigmentation and dark spots caused by ageing or acne. In a bowl, add two tablespoon of tomato pulp and one tablespoon of both yogurt and lemon juice and mix them well. Apply the pack for 30 minutes and then wash off with cold water. As the mixture contains tomato, it might cause some itching, but stay calm and let the pack do its work.
Milk: Make a thick paste of mashed papaya and milk. Apply the paste, keep it on until it dries and wash off with cold water. If you don’t have time, just take papaya skin and rub over the affected areas.
Another option is to use milk powder. In a bowl add two tablespoons of milk powder with one tablespoon of honey and a few drops of almond oil. Apply and wash off in 20 minutes. If you have sensitive skin this is a very good option to go for.
Oils: Add four spoons of sesame seed oil, one tablespoon each of olive oil and almond oil, apply it on your skin and wash it off after 20 minutes with warm water using gram flour as a scrub. This is the best option if you have dry skin as it will moisturize and remove dead skin.
